Matt Brown is a 2013 3B/1B with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from St Louis, MO who attends Vianney HS. Very strong physical build, especially in the lower half. 7.25 runner, has some lateral agility, soft hands defensively, arm strength playable but may force over to first base in future. Right handed hitter, upright stance, still start, simple swing mechanics, uses hands well, loose extension out front at times, creates bat speed, has power potential. Good student, verbal commitment to Arkansas.
