Josh Leone is a 2012 RHP/OF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Keithville, LA who attends Calvary Baptist Academy. Large athletic build, long arms, good strength potential. Balanced delivery, long arm action with some hook in back, cross body a bit on release, good arm speed, ball comes out clean out front, 3/4s release point with some downhill angle. Steady 86-88 mph fastball, mostly straight with occasional arm side run. Tight spin on slurve type slider with occasional good depth and bite. Works around the plate and has an idea. Aggressive swing at the plate, showed some strength and uses his hands well, line drive swing plane, has some hitting tools. Good student.
