Parker Gallegos is a 2012 SS/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Chandler, AZ who attends Hamilton HS. Slender athletic build. Light on feet defensively, moves through the ball well, balanced easy actions, plays under control, throws have good carry, good hands. Right handed hitter, aggressive swing, upper cut swing plane, tends to fly open, creates raw bat speed and the ball comes off the barrel hard, solid contact, might benefit from flatter swing plane, has hitting tools to develop. 7.42 speed, plays faster. Also pitched, fastball to 83 mph, high effort delivery, good curveball spin, some feel to lively change up. Very good student.
