David Chabut is a 2015 SS/3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Loganville, GA who attends Loganville HS. Medium athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. 7.06 runner, polished defensive actions in the middle infield, moves well to the ball and anticipates plays, good footwork at the ball, clean exchange and release, accurate throws, arm strength playable. Right handed hitter, nice swing mechanics, simple and efficient swing, gets the barrel to the ball and squares it up, good loose extension out front, showed gap to gap power and projects offensively with more strength. Played very well in games and showed his skills, will keep improving with additional strength. Good student, verbal commitment to Kennesaw State.
