Carter Perkins is a 2015 C/RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Ola HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength. 7.35 runner, athletic behind the plate with nice catch and throw skills, very good arm strength with on line carry, accurate throws, quick release, receives the ball well. Left handed hitter, crouched stance, has bat speed and strong hands at contact, stays inside the ball and can drive it to left centerfield, line drive swing plane, short compact swing. Good balance of offensive and defensive tools/skills. Named to the Top Prospect Team for this showcase.
