Jason Heinrich is a 2015 1B/RHP/OF with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Spring Hill, FL who attends River Ridge HS. Big extra strong physical build, has a presence in the batters box. Right handed hitter, straight stance, back side hitter with big bat speed and power, ball explodes off the barrel, tends to get too inside the ball at times instead of getting extended and letting the barrel go, high level natural hitting ability. 6.82 runner, has good range at first base, still learning footwork and glove positioning. Also pitches, fast paced delivery with some energy at release, high 3/4's arm slot. Lots of raw arm strength, fastball topped out at 90 mph, good curveball spin with some 11/5 downer shape and bite, will get on side of it at times for more a sweeping slider shape. Bat and power are his carrying tools. Very good student, verbal commitment to Central Florida.
