Alec Bowman is a 2016 3B/MIF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Boynton Beach, FL who attends Boca Raton Community. Medium-large frame with good physical build at present. Hits from very narrow, opened stance with pull-field approach. Very simple and short swing, gets hands to ball quickly and makes consistent contact. Best power at present is to the pull field, with developing strength to all fields coming with more physical maturation. Worked out in the infield, showed good arm strength across the infield with throws topping out at 81 MPH. Throws from low slot across the infield, short and choppy steps with solid side-to-side quickness. Projects well at 3B defensively. Ran a 7.47 60 yard dash. Good student.
