Drayden Williams is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Valrico, FL who attends Brandon. Medium, athletic frame with a lean, projectable build. Room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.32 60 yard dash. Shows athletic actions in the infield, light on feet, glove plays, works through the ball, makes off balance play, smooth and quick release. Shows sound mechanics on the mound, release from a three-quarter arm slot, stays tall on backside, uses lower half, up tempo delivery. Fastball topped at 83 mph, gets arm side run, and shows a quick arm. Curveball shows 11-5 break with depth and tight spin on slider at 73 mph. Strikes with all three pitches. Right handed batter, upright stance with a quiet hand set. Line drive swing plane, gets the barrel to the ball, shows good bat speed, handles the bat well. Good student. Named to National Underclass Session 3 Top Prospect Team.
