Braedon Jewett is a 2013 C/1B with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Bristow, VA who attends Patriot. Strong, stocky build that works well behind the plate. High base on pops, quick feet, gets out front well, gains ground toward second base. Good hands and transfer, consistent pops below 2.00. Quick release on pops. Right handed hitter, line drive swing plane, makes contact and is aggressive with swing. Swung the bat well in balls. Does a nice job of staying short to ball. Line drive contact. Very good student.
