Griffin Powell is a 2013 1B/C with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Minnetonka, MN who attends Minnetonka HS. Medium athletic frame. Compact swing path, good contact skills, finds the barrel well. Good plate approach, toe tap trigger, crouched stance, high hand set, relaxed in the box, aggressive hitter, looks to pull but showed ability to hit to all fields. Good defensive actions at 1B. Very good student.
