Brandon Catena is a 2013 RHP with a 6-1 188 lb. frame from Mississauga, ON who attends St Paul's. Medium, athletic frame with room to fill out. Pitches from 3/4 slot with looseness in his arm. Mechanics are solid and he does a good job of repeating and staying online. Fastball showed sink and sat low 70s, topping at 74. Curveball has slow 11/5 break at 62 with depth at times. Was able to throw strikes with both pitches. Projects to throw harder as body fills out. Clean arm action and mechanics and athletic body give him potential.
