Chase Grant is a 2014 2B/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends Carlsbad HS. Slender athletic build, some present strength. Left handed hitter, short quick swing, has hand quickness, spray line drive contact, tends to pull off the plate at times. Good foot quickness and range at second base, soft hands, arm strength limits to second base, will have to improve quickness on exchange/release, especially on double plays. Good student.
