Stevie Mangrum is a 2015 OF/3B with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Charlottesville, VA who attends Western Albemarle HS. Extra strong athletic build. Right handed hitter, spread stance, hand hitch load, very aggressive swing, lift and pull approach with bat speed and strength, ball comes off the barrel hard and carries, uppercut swing plane, will have some swing/miss but will drive mistakes in his zone hard. 6.93 runner, plays both third base and outfield, moves well to the ball in the infield, good charge, accurate on line throws, solid at third base. Good student, verbal commitment to Virginia Tech.
