Jorge Flores is a 2013 C with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Riverview, FL who attends Faith Baptist Christian HS. Large well proportioned catcher's build, good present strength. Good footwork and foot quickness behind the plate, stays low and shifts well, quick exchange and release, accurate throws, 1.99 best pop time, raw arm strength playable but only defensive short coming. Plays hard defensively and shows leadership. Left handed hitter, balanced stance with smooth, fluid swing, loose out front, sound swing mechanically, handles the barrel well, spray line drive contact, has strength/bat speed he isn't tapping into yet at the plate.
