Parker Johnson is a 2014 SS/C/RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from West Des Moines, IA who attends Valley HS. Tall, lean athlete with room to grow. Ran a 7.45 60 yard dash. Shows quick feet from behind the plate and has the receiving skills to play the position. Also threw the ball well across the diamond. Bats right-handed, works from a slight knee bend, balanced setup. Hits to the middle of the field and to the opposite field. Slashing style hitter. Also took the mound, reaches 78 mph with his fastball from a high three-quarter arm slot. Knows how to spin the curveball with 11-5 rotation. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect team.
