Timothy Gross is a 2005 5'10" outfielder from Boca Raton, Florida who appears a bit taller and stronger than his listed size. He is a 2005 with good hand and upper body strength and showed some good bat speed and power potential with wood, especially to right centerfield. Gross’s arm strength from the outfield was solid and he moves well, which raises the question of his potentially playing in the infield. He profiles at those positions athletically. He looks to be a top of the order hitter who will score many runs. He ran a 6.75 on the slow running turf in Ft Myers. This would equate to a possible 6.5 in perfect running conditions. He is fast! Tim is an outstanding student.
