2004 World Showcase
We’ve seen Wynn frequently at PG/WWBA events in the past and have a good feel for his abilities. He’s a broad shouldered, narrow wasted 6-4 right hander with lively athletic actions. Wynn is a very fast worker on the mound who pumps in a steady diet of strikes while consistently working the outside corner. He’s a defensive player’s dream for the way he sets the pace of the game. Wynn threw 84-87 mph for us in Fort Myers with some tail and sink to it and we’ve seen him a tick or two faster in the past. Wynn’s curveball was 66-67 mph and is a big sweeper that would improve with more downer break to it and he’ll mix in a change up now and then. Wynn is an excellent student. Tommy has a great future and will end up being a 90+ guy who can really pitch. He has committed to Florida but he'll get some draft interest as well.
