Lites is a 5-11, 165 lb junior outfielder from Texas with a live athletic body. He's a good defensive outfielder with 7.25 speed and 81 mph arm strength with very good on line carry and accuracy. Lites hits from a very wide, exaggerated stance at the plate that keep his hips and lower half locked out of his swing. We usually are critical of this approach, especially in young hitters with developing strength, but Lites showed that he could do it. He has natural hand strength that gives him some bat speed and quickness and he made solid line drive contact, mostly to right field. He has some life in his bat that could still improve with some adjustments and added strength. Lites is also a good student. He was named to the Top Prospect Game.
