Colton Hock is a 2014 RHP with a 6-5 215 lb. frame from Bloomsburg, PA who attends Bloomsburg Area HS. Tall high waisted athletic build, good present strength. High effort delivery, stays tall with short stride to the plate, pulls head off on release, high 3/4's release with sharp downhill angle to the plate. Very good secondary pitches. Hard curveball with plus spin at times and big 11/5 shape. Potential plus change up with good arm speed and very good life and deception. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, mostly straight. Threw strikes despite complicated effort delivery. High ceiling potential due to size and quality of secondary pitches. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Stanford.
