Gabriel Garcia is a 2015 C/3B with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Coamo, PR who attends Montverde Academy. Tall, strongly built, mature frame with present lower half strength. Shows a high release point from behind the plate and has a very quick release. Has an above average raw arm. Makes low, on the bag throws. Shows good hands and is a high upside defender. Also showed plus arm strength across the infield and has the hands for the position. Bats right-handed, works from a balanced, powerful setup. Shows above average bat speed and stays inside the ball. Displayed huge, game ready power and an ability to spin on a good fastball. Has excellent carry off his bat and above average bat speed. Very good student. Named to Top Prospect list.
