Wesley Wrenn is a 5'11", 185 lb. right handed pitcher/infielder from Greensboro, North Carolina, with a smooth and easy delivery. He has a medium framed body with muscular legs. Wesley shows good arm strength with an 82-86 mph fastball, and 65-68 mph curveball. His curveball can be very sharp at times with good depth. He also shows good life on his fastball with tailing action and occasional sink. Wesley's pitches have college level life right now, with very good projection on velocity . This guy will be a valuable pitcher in college. We've also seen him pitch very effectively this summer at WWBA events. At the plate Wesley is right handed hitter with a narrow open to closed stance. He uses a no stride approach with very quick bat speed. He hits ball deep in the zone with good hand strength. Wrenn has a line drive swing plane with a swing that will produce hard hit balls. He is a good student.
