Kyle Davis is a 2015 C/RHP/1B with a 6-3 222 lb. frame from Brewton, AL who attends TR Miller HS. Big strong physical build, especially for his age. Right handed hitter, long swing with pull and lift approach, has bat speed, tends to get to front side early and lose balance at contact, flashes his power. Very good raw arm strength behind the plate, on line accurate throws, footwork and exchange/release sound but will need quickening, may outgrow catching position physically. High effort multi-part delivery but repeats it well, arm works very well, steady 85-86 mph fastball in a quick inning of work, only threw fastballs. Unmistakable arm strength and would like to see more of him on the mound. Brother of 2012 PG All-American RHP Kevin Davis but different type of athlete. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
