Cole Tucker is a 2014 MIF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Mountain Pointe HS. Tall and slender athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. 6.81 runner, light on his feet defensively, lots of range, good footwork coming through the ball, very good arm strength with the ability to throw from multiple arm angles, can improve hand position approach the ball, also plays the outfield. Switch hitter, shorter swing with better bat speed from the left side, loose fluid swing, aggressive with present bat speed, has some lift out front. Deeper load and longer approach right handed, big stride in, loose swing with good extension, swings hard, legitimate switch-hitting tools but will need to shorten up from the right side. Very projectable athlete in all areas. Good student, verbal commitment to Arizona.
