Taylor Wilkes is a 2016 RHP/SS, 3B, OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Jefferson, GA who attends Jefferson. Medium frame, lean athletic build with room to fill. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot with a long loose arm action. Arm works well coming through, good downhill plane, long stride, aggressive pitching approach. Sharp break on hard slider, good tilt, flashed good feel at times for the pitch and was highly effective with it. Pitched inside aggressively in this outing, good extension out front, works quickly and attacked hitters, heavy run on upper 80s fastball topping out at 89 mph. Good student. Good athleticism as well, not only evidenced by body control to delivery but also by 6.90 60 yard dash. Named to the Southeast Underclass Showcase Top Prospect Team.
