Greg Lewandoski is a 2017 SS/ with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Deland, FL who attends Spruce Creek. Medium, athletic frame with lean build that projects nicely moving forward with room for additional strength gains. Ran a 7.08 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, sound and quick athletic actions to the ball, moves well to either side, glove plays well and works through ball, some effort at release but gets on top of throws from short arm action with accuracy across. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and a simple load moving into contact. Loose hands in line drive swing plane, creates extension out front and shows life off the barrel. Generates solid bat speed through the zone with the ability to create backspin to pull side. Repeats mechanics well. Good student. Named to Junior National Top Prospect List. Verbal commitment to Florida.
