2004 Sunshine East Showcase
Zoey Angulo is a 2006 OF/2B from Miami, FL. Angulo has a slender build with lots of physical projection. He generates good bat speed for his size with a whippy swing that starts with high hands from a narrow base. Although Angulo ran a 7.46, he appeared much faster in game competition, especially in the outfield where he ranged far to make some nice plays on a couple of balls. How much strength he’s able to gain will be a key to his moving on to the highest levels. Zoey is a very good student.
