Isaac Phillips is a 2015 OF/ with a 6-1 186 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends Mt Paran Christian. Large, athletic frame with long limbs and a lean, projectable frame with room to fill out. Quick twitch muscle, very strong runner, posted a 6.74 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to ball and covers ground, strong and live arm with quick release, small crow hop to gain momentum, ball comes out clean and easy from hand with nice carry. Right-handed hitter, starts with an open stance and shows loose hands and wrists through swing. Simple and repeatable swing mechanics, creates some separation in swing, effort swing but generates very good bat speed, keeps swing compact and creates hard line drive contact with extension out front. Named to Southeast Top Prospect List.
