JP Colton is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Maitland, FL who attends Winter Park HS. Large frame, thin athletic build with room to fill. Hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand set, long rotational swing, high finish, loose swing actions, projectable hitting tools, balanced swing. Long arm action, quick feet, circles he ball well, accurate outfield throws with good carry and online mechanics, arm projects well, stood out defensively. Excellent student.
