Logan Place is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Wesley Chapel, FL who attends Wiregrass Ranch HS. Medium, athletic build. Ran a 7.01 60 yard dash. Bats right-handed, works from a slightly open setup. Takes an aggressive swing and likes to hit the fastball. Shows strength and power potential, hits to the middle of the field. Short to the ball. Shows good carry from the outfield and fluid overall fielding mechanics. Also took the mound, reaches 80 mph from a high three-quarter arm slot. Shows good arm speed nd balance. Mixes an 11-5 curveball with good depth at 71 mph. Excellent student. Named to National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect Team.
