LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2004 National Underclass Dec 28-30
Rinard is a slender 5-11 sophomore from Indiana with a projectable frame. He played both infield and outfield at the Showcase and our first impression is that he profiles best in the outfield. Rinard has pretty good speed at 7.23 to cover ground in the outfield and his long, fluid arm stroke plays much better making the longer throws. In fact, Rinard could end up with a very good throwing arm from the outfield. At the plate, Rinard hits from a no load approach with a wide stance and a whippy swing. He showed the ability to go the other way well and made consistent solid contact.
