Vincent Torres is a 2015 LHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends Mercersburg Academy. Medium, athletic frame with a strong present build. Primary left-handed pitcher, works from a three-quarter arm slot on the mound. Shows an easy and fluid arm action with sound mechanics and the ability to repeat them consistently. Worked fastball in the 79-82 mph range with the ability to locate and generate some arm side run on the pitch. Showed both a curveball at 65 mph and a slider at 69 mph. Fields the ball out front nicely at first base with a full arm action and strength on accurate throws across. Very good student.
