Charlie Bishop is a 2015 LHP/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Simpsonville, SC who attends Hillcrest. Bishop has a medium sized frame with a lean build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long loose arm action. He has a balanced delivery and repeats it well. Bishop pitches slightly across his body and pitches with low effort. He hides the ball well and gets some extension out front. Bishop throws a 1/7 curveball at 66 MPH with tight spin and good shape to it. He also throws a change up at 74 MPH with sink to it. Bishop maintains good arm speed on his change up with some deception. He's a pitchability lefty who throws 3 pitches for strikes and has some feel for all 3 pitches. His velocity projects some and is an interesting left hander. Excellent student.
