Culver Hughes is a 2015 RHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Exton, PA who attends West Chester East HS. Slender young pitchers build, projects physically Tall cross body delivery, compact arm action, 3/4's arm slot on fastball, consistently lower on off speed pitches, arm works well. Low to mid 80's fastball, topped at 87 mph, mostly straight but has the ability to spot the ball. Very nice change up at times, especially when release slot is up, good live and arm speed with lots of confidence. Lowers slot to almost sidearm at times on curveball, has spin and good depth. Has feel for his off-speed. Tools to keep improving with additional strength. Good student.
