Luke Bumgardner is a 2015 3B/1B with a 6-1 172 lb. frame from Decatur, GA who attends Decatur HS. Slender athletic build, projects well physically. Right handed hitter, spread stance, aggressive swing, line drive swing plane, not consistent with his upper half direction, shows some bat speed, hits to all fields but best contact pulling. 7.71 runner, low release on throws, gets some carry, tends to get glove down late to the ball. Good student.
