Matthew Jernigan is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Donalsonville, GA who attends Southwest Georgia Academy. Has a large projectable frame with an athletic build. At the plate he starts with a wide base with good balance, has a level quiet swing, makes solid consistent contact at the plate. Is short to the ball, stays inside the ball well, handles the barrel well. In the field gets in front of the ball, moves his feet to the ball, makes accurate throws. Is an excellent student and is someone to keep an eye on.
