Cade Sorrells is a 2015 1B/LHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Monroe, GA who attends George Walton Academy. Medium, strong build. Ran a 7.45 60 yard dash. Bats left-handed, works from a solid, balanced, slightly open setup. Flashes good bat speed and an aggressive, power hitting approach. Gets good extension and has a gap approach in game action. Shows playable arm strength at first base and sound fielding mechanics. Also took the mound, reaches 74 mph from a high three-quarter arm slot. Needs to find a consistent release point. Tends to drop his arm on 69 mph changeup but shows good fade. Good shape on 11-5 curveball at 63 mph. Good student. Named to National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect Team.
