Christian Scherff is a 2015 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Colleyville, TX who attends Heritage. Tall athletic build, lean present strength. Pitches from three quarter arm slot, downhill plane, long stride. Fastball runs to arm side, raw mechanics, physical tools to improve, lacks balance to delivery, tips offspeed by slowing arm but gets good depth on curveball and splitter shows promise, projectable arm. More advanced as a hitter at present. Consistent contact, good bat speed, good extension, strong at contact, uses lower half well in swing. Excellent student.
