Brad Albach is a 2006 right handed pitcher from Northbrook, IL with a big projectable body at 6-3, 190 lbs. He has a well built and mature lower half and a more slender and loose upper half. Albach pitches out of a full wind up with smooth, repeatable pitching mechanics. He gets very good running action on a 85-87 mph fastball and shows the ability to spot his fastball down in the strike zone effectively. Albach's best secondary pitch is a 79 mph change up that had good movement and deception. His 72 mph curveball has a small horizonatal break like a slider and can be tightened up.
