Brad Bass is a 2014 RHP with a 6-6 215 lb. frame from New Lenox, IL who attends Lincoln-Way Central HS. Outstanding young pitcher's build, long limbs with good strength and looseness, projects physically. Very long and extended arm action, 3/4's slot, arm works loose and smoothly with very good arm speed, tends to fall off to first base side in delivery creating balance/direction issues. Fastball to 91 mph, mostly straight, tends to pitch up with his fastball at present. Quality slider with good spin and bite, can take off slider for bigger hard curveball 11/5 shape, has feel for spinning the ball. Developing change up. Has high ceiling potential with delivery adjustments, follow very closely. Good student, verbal commitment to Notre Dame.
