Rob Long is a 2014 C/ with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from St. John, IN who attends Andrean. Tall, strongly built catcher with present lower half strength. Ran a 7.37 60 yard dash. Bats right-handed, works from a wide, slightly open setup and carries his hands low. Works underneath the ball and shows good lift. Flashes power potential and hits to the middle of the field. Arm strength is still developing from behind the plate but makes accurate throws. Sets up low and shows good hands. Good student.
