Shane Pugliese is a 2014 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-6 145 lb. frame from Plainville, CT who attends Plainville. Small build athlete with room to add strength. On the infield, skills translate well to 2B. Lets ball get deep, hands field solidly, shows quickness in feet and ability to get to ball. Works thru ball, average arm strength with solid accuracy. Right handed hitter, aggressive front side hitter, with short, choppy swing. Line drive plane, will benefit from better balance and use of lower half. On the mound, short, compact delivery with loose arm action. Works down in zone with fastball and also showed curveball.
