Brandon Jenkins is a 2017 RHP/OF, 3B, SS with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Glendora, NJ who attends Sterling. Tall, strongly built, wiry, athletic frame with more room to add strength. High energy player. Topped at 88 mph with his fastball from a high three-quarter arm slot. Still developing his fastball command. Arm works well but needs upper and lower half in sync in his delivery. Flashes a curveball with sharp 10-4 shape. Shows sharp rotation, sometimes has slider action. Also flashes a changeup with arm side diving action. Very quick arm with a high upside. Command will be key. Also swung the bat, takes an aggressive swing out of a high hand set. Looks to do damage and makes loud contact. Shows lift and good bat speed. Arm works well from the outfield and infield. Good motor on the infield and hands work well. Very good student. Named to Top Prospect list.
