Tremarcus Koontz is a 2014 SS/3B/2B with a 6-0 174 lb. frame from Mt Pleasant, TX who attends Mt Pleasant HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength with room for more. Right handed hitter, high hand approach, swings hard, hand position creates some length to the ball, shows hand quickness and the beginnings of some bat speed, looks to pull and lift, tends to hit around the ball but barrels up well and projects to improve. 7.13 runner, shows some range in the infield, short compact arm action with multiple release points, arm strength still developing, second base tools. Good student.
