Jose Bonilla is a 2013 OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Delray Beach, FL who attends Elev8 Sports Institute HS. Slender young build, room to get stronger. Outstanding runner, 6.38 in the 60, impact speed. Solid outfield arm strength to go with range, will need to work through the ball better before throws. Switch hitter, similar approaches both sides, bit more bat speed right handed. Early load with wrapped start, keeps hands tight through contact, rotational swing, contact approach, will need to add additional strength to hit at the next level. Speed gives him a chance. Very good student.
