Zach Pederson is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Chandler, AZ who attends Hamilton HS. Slender athletic build, lots of room to fill out. High 3/4's arm slot with some lean backwards at top of delivery, effort at release and tends to fall off on release. Fastball topped at 78 mph, lots of natural cutting action glove side. with some sink arm side. Good sink and fade on his change up, tends to cast soft curveball, throws lots of off speed pitches and wants to mix. Right handed hitter, open stance with a leg raise trigger, aggressive swing, tends to pull off the ball, has some raw bat speed, line drive swing plane, occasional hard pull contact. Good student.
