Garrett Gomez is a 2014 OF/1B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Chino Hills, CA who attends Ruben S. Ayala. Medium frame, thick strong build with a muscular lower half. Speed plays better in games than the 60 yard dash time would suggest. Solid strength to swing, drove a ball to the wall the opposite way, long swing generates good bat speed. Hits from a slightly open stance, line drive swing plane, can create loft at times as well. Accurate throws from the outfield with a short arm action. Very good student.
