Luis Ciuro is a 2013 C/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Santa Isabel, PR who attends Montverde Academy. Athletic tightly wound build, quick twitch athletic actions. High level catching tools, very quick hands and exchange/release, plenty of arm strength, on line accurate throws, can improve footwork consistency, 1.81 best pop time, unusually good athlete for a catcher, also plays the outfield. Right handed hitter, short quick swing, keeps mechanics simple and balanced, swings hard, very good bat speed, ball comes off hard and shows present gap power, has the type of swing that translates very well to the pro level. Under recognized as a prospect right now in PG's opinion. Very good student.
