Carson Wlad is a 2014 OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Calgary, AB who attends Bishop Carroll HS. Slender athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. 7.21 runner, moves well in the outfield, accurate throws with developing arm strength, can improve throwing mechanics. Left handed hitter, open balanced stance, fluid loose low effort swing, stays short and direct to the ball, enough hand quickness to pull the ball, squares up well, line drive swing plane, nice base hitting skills that will improve with additional strength. Aggressive player who runs the bases well. Good student.
