Ivan Rodriguez is a 2013 SS/2B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Gurabo, PR who attends Colegio Notre Dame Caguas. Medium build, excellent athlete, well proportioned and has room to grow. Ran a 6.87 60 yard. Good footwork on the infield, solid actions, hands work well, flashes a strong arm that really plays at shortstop, has a tendency to overthrow. Right-handed hitter, wide base setup, doesn't get cheated at the plate, needs to stay balanced. Flashes solid bat speed, tendency to pull off the bat. Aggressive on the base, uses his speed well, puts the ball on the ground and knows his game. Excellent student.
