Scott Mehan is a 2017 3B/RHP,/2B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Cactus Shadows HS. Medium, highly athletic, lean build with more room to add strength. Ran a 6.96 60 yard dash. Stays low on the infield and arm works well with carry. Fields out front and has a short arm action. Bats right-handed, works from a slight knee bend setup and stays on top of the ball. Hits to the middle of the field with authority and made hard opposite field contact in game action. Stays level and generates line drives. Also took took the mound, pitches from a three-quarter arm slot and tops at 79 mph with his fastball. Mixes a 67 mph curveball with 11-5 rotation. Very good student.
